3. Start painting
Match each number with its color, Paint gently, follow the lines precisely (especially for portraits), and revive drying paint with a drop of water if needed.
4. Assemble your frame
Insert the long and short wooden bars together to form the corners - no tools required. Tap each joint lightly to secure the fit, then complete the full rectangular frame. Place the finished painting face-down, fold the canvas edges over the frame, and stretch it evenly, Use thumbtacks to fix each side - starting from one pin and spacing the rest evenly. For best results, pull tight at each corner to keep the surface smooth and firm.

I wanted to make something for a friend (who does a lot of painting). She definitely doesn’t use paint by numbers artwork kits. I was hesitant when I started as a few numbers were missing in place on the canvas or hard to read. I guessed a bit for hair/eyes/mouth. I am thrilled with the end result. I was happy with result only wished we could have got it in alot small size, I painted it for my Mum as my Dad recently passed away unfortunately it is a very large portrait and in her small home was very overbearing so unable to display for her..

Enjoying seeing this come to life. Still tweaking my painting and how to neatly do tiny narrow areas and the best way to use brushes but having a seperate sheet with painting guide on it means I can neaten any areas i wish to. Very calming to do. Looking forward to the end result

The canvas, paint and brush quality are great, the packaging is lovely. However, for my personalised painting the paint colours are very dark compared to the image on the guide sheet unfortunately. I also ordered two stock paintings and I'm looking forward to completing them.
